how does this system of perception and belief really work?

It begins the moment you’re born and continues until the day you die. That sounds ominous, doesn’t it?

The best way to explain it is to look at yourself as a computer. The hardware that you’re born with is your genes, your personality, your intelligence, strengths, weaknesses, and potential.

The software is your ‘programing’ throughout your life which includes:
Your family
Your country and its culture

Your friends

Your education

Your social networking

The advertising you see

The TV and movies you watch

All this ‘stuff’ blends together and creates what you believe to be true about yourself, others, and the world.
It becomes the perception or the lens that you look through to interpret your world.
These beliefs may or may not be true, but you will always act according to these beliefs and you will never question whether they’re true or not.

As a matter of fact, most of us have no idea how this system works, nor do we understand the power it holds in our lives. It’s like we are chained to our beliefs but we don’t know it

It’s the’ invisible water’ that we swim in.

So, what's the point here?

If you want to take control of your life, you have to thoroughly examine your beliefs and assumptions

You need to break those invisible chains that are holding you down

Drop the negative ones and hold on to the positive ones

It’s your life – experiment and make it the best it can be

Why Not?
